  • Understanding the underpinnings (cognitive, emotional, motivational) of poor social functioning in schizophrenia
  • Evaluating the efficacy of psychosocial interventions for serious mental illness with a recent focus on family psychoeducation and cognitive remediation
  • Elucidating the mechanisms by which psychosocial interventions exert an impact on symptoms, cognition, and functional status in patients with schizophrenia
  • Development of novel therapeutic interventions with a recent focus on neuromodulation
