Inpatient Rehabilitation Program

The Inpatient Rehabilitation Program is part of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) department. We serve Veterans and active duty service members with brain injurystroke or limb loss. Care is centered on our 18-bed CARF accredited inpatient unit. Our inpatient brain injury program is part of our brain injury care continuum that also includes services in our Polytrauma Transitional Rehabilitation Program (PTRP) and our Outpatient Brain Injury Programs.

The Inpatient Rehabilitation Program serves patients in the earlier phases of recovery from serious illness or injury. The primary focus is to increase independence and improve quality of life.

Our interdisciplinary care teams can include any of the following rehabilitation professionals and always includes the patient and their chosen support system.
